For young people aged between 6 and 8 the Beaver section meets for one hour a week. The Section leadership team provides a fun balanced programme of activities focusing on the Scout Associations programme zones and working towards the various badges a Beaver Scout can collect.
In addition to the weekly programme there are regular weekend activities which have recently included sleepovers, trips to city farm, ice skating, flower planting and a sponsored swim.

Uniform
Beaver Uniform consists of a Turquoise Sweatshirt and Navy Activity Trousers which should be worn with shoes appropriate for the activity (preferably Black).All items are available from Scout Shops online or some John Lewis stores.
When a beaver is invested they are presented with the Red and White Group Scarf and a set of our badges. These badges should be sewn onto their uniform as soon as possible to show that they have been invested into the Beaver Section and made their Beaver Scout promise.
